We are pleased to announce that next year's Coaltown Festival will be held in Downtown Nanaimo on BC Day (Monday, August 2nd) between 10am and 4pm.

In addition to taking in an exciting day of music, storytelling, children's games and activities, enjoy perusing the wares of local quality Craftspeople and Artisans.

These events will continue to be on a by donation basis to ensure that everyone can enjoy the richness of the events and performances while taking in the warm hospitality of the Nanaimo community.

Make sure you come down early to secure a good seating location. You may want to bring along a chair or a blanket. Remember... don't forget to invite your out-of-town friends or relatives to show off our amazing part of the world.
